First Edition AD&D geek, though now favor Pathfinder or 5e with a few homebrew rules. That said, the system isn't critical to me so long as it's sufficient to tell the story. I favor hardcore, low-magic games with intrigue and interesting NPCs, which I guess has become hip in this Game of Thrones era. How bout that? I like players to accumulate enough setting knowledge over time to figure out complex political puzzles by themselves (without the dreaded "You know that ..."). Fond of other genres too but have rarely played them (scifi, space, postapocalyptic...).
