51st level Geek
32nd level (veteran) DM
Multiclassed: Husband14/Dad14/Grandpa7

Mapping fantasy to reality, I'm a bard of the tech industry...jack-of-all-trades, master of none: Architect - Application/Tools Development - Product Owner - Network Engineer - Technical Writer (with experience/dabbling in several other tech-related areas).

DM Style:
- Storytelling where the players evolve the story as much as I do.
- Sessions are usually 1/2 developed, 1/2 improvisation (see previous, basically a mix of "structured" and "sandbox" as Monte Cook points out here).
- Love adding character-specific items, plots, spells, etc., usually on the fly in response to great RP and furthering of the story.
- Make extensive use of visual and auditory aids.
- Developing game mechanics that allow for max customization and randomness.

Other games I've played and would play again (weren't on the list below):
Magic: the Gathering
Fading Suns

Games I enjoyed at the time, but don't envision playing again:
Original D&D
AD&D (1st Edition and 2E)
D&D 4E
Star War RGPs

Enjoys Playing
Board Games ( Settlers of Catan, Chess... ), D&D 3.5, Pathfinder, Shadowrun ( Any Edition )
