-What do you do in daily life?
I'm a therapist in transition. While I have some responsibilities related to my job, I have an abundance of free time atm.
-Can you commit to regularly attending 4-hour sessions?
Yes, I'm use to raiding in WoW and am looking for a D&D experience that will be a consistent part of my week. I will be going through a pretty big transition in April (I'm moving to India) but I should be able to continue the campaign from there. It is possible, however, that I might need to to take a week or 2 off during the transition.
-What time zone do you live in?
EST, Atlanta, Ga. ;D
-What is your favorite D&D experience, or if none, what interested you in trying out D&D? In your opinion, what makes a "good D&D player?"
Unfortunately, I've only been a DM as none of my friends are interested in being the DM. While I enjoy it, I've always wanted to be a part of a campaign as a character. I did a campaign in college with some friends and since it was my senior year, I wrapped up the campaign with a bang. I had themed food, a large 3D map set up for the final battle akin to helm's deep, w/ music. They loved it, which is what it's all about.
-On a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being "very serious" and 10 being "very silly," what number would best represent your optimal D&D group?
Hmm, probably a 2-7 depending on the context. I usually find that "very serious" atmosphere detracts from the game, whether it be because of awkward role-playing, or extreme intensity. I'm here to play an adventure game (emphasis on the game). On the other hand, I enjoy joking around and know as any group grows closer together jokes will happen. But I also want the game to stay on track.
Random stuff...
I have pretty extensive Photoshop, graphic design, and IT experience so if you ever needed player aids, etc. I'd be happy to help.
