Long-time professional GM/DM who's run games hosted:
- at large-scale international gaming conventions
- at your small, local friendly game stores
- at private online homebrew hang-seshes
- in online communities dedicated to strictly long-form & text-based adventures
You know how it is. Work, the global pandemic, and other pursuits, whisked me off into the wild world of AFK-land. Things have settled down and I'm thinking of getting back into the game on a more relaxed basis.
My preference as both a player and a GM is that Story is King. I'm highly invested in character narratives and EVERYONE'S NPCs. Played a lot of different systems in my time but homebrews are probably my favourite.
I've also got a soft spot for running games for both new players, and younger children (plus their parents). TTRPGs as a family event are great.
