Greetings all, Jeremy here. I have had my D&D 5e core rulebooks for months now, read 'em about a THOUSAND times, but I recently moved to a new area where there is not much tabletop RPG action. I started LFG online, and found Roll20 - which seems like a great way to play tabletop D&D from the comfort of my own easy chair.
I've been away from D&D for quite a while (a little 2nd edition in the late 90s), but I am a fan of the FG setting and The Legend of Drizzt novel series. Icewind Dale is my favorite video game (which I have thoroughly enjoyed replaying recently on iOS.) I mostly enjoy the tactical combat side of [tabletop] D&D, but the puzzle-solving, intrigue and RP is cool too.
I prefer dex-based DPS, utility or spell-casting characters over front-line tanks and healers. Here are some of the character concepts I am really dying to try out:
Half-Orc Rogue: (SICK DPS) sneak atk + savage atk on a crit roll. With buffs - amazing.
High Elf Rogue: (MASTER PICK-POCKET) high sleight of hand skill + mage hand cantrip
Wood Elf Monk: (FAST/AGILE) 16 in Dex/Wis & AC, 45 speed (at lvl 2) + multi-attack
Drow Bard: (JUST COOL) Keen Senses + Expertise + Wis helps offset Sunlight Sensitivity
Bottom line: I'm looking for a weekly group, serious about the game but easy-going enough to have fun. I would love to experience Hoard of the Dragon Queen or Mines of Phandelvar, but definitely open to a homebrewed campaign as well. Let me know if you have an available spot in your party!!
