Heya, Holly here. A decade ago my friends invited me around to play D&D for the first time. I had no clue what I was doing, but pieced together a paladin with a thirst for vengeance in half an hour and proceeded to have the best afternoon ever. I'm been roleplaying ever since.
First thing to know about me as a GM is that I'm a big fan of inclusive environments, and I'm a big fan of safety. Whether it's ageism, biphobia, ableism, homophobia, sexism, racism (including antisemitism), religious intolerance, transphobia, or anything else, bigots will not be tolerated at my table. They will not pass go, they will not collect $200. I pick my players carefully, and I go to every length to ensure some of the bad experiences I myself have had to endure will never come up in my games.
On a lighter note, I love improv. That's not to say I don't prep. Oh, believe me, I prep a whole bunch. But when the players decides to go completely off the rails I am in my element. Every world is an open world when I run it, and I actively encourage you to poke curiosities and surprise me. You know what I also love? Collaborating with players to create character arcs. From exploring the way your character confronts their tragic past to looking for their long-lost mother, let's chat and create something truly emotional, truly epic together.
