My jam: story-driven games that challenge the players to make difficult decisions with a lasting impact - on themselves, and on the world around them. Not to say I don't enjoy getting down in the weeds on the battle grid from time-to-time, because yeah, I do! I just want those conflicts to feel meaningful in the context of a larger campaign. (At least, most of the time?)
Plenty of 3.5E and Pathfinder experience, dabbled in Starfinder, now playing 5E and also curious about systems & settings that offer something a little different from the typical fantasy milieu (Shadowrun, Deadlands, etc.)
