My name is Shane and I'm retired United States Air Force. I am 41 years old and been playing role playing games since 1994. My first character was was a 2E Dwarven Ranger; with an awesome back story. He's probably tied for my favorite as of right now. My other favorite is my 3.5 E Half-Elf Bard/Fighter who whistled for his instrument and duel wielded a quarterstaff for his weapon. The Dwarf Ranger was named Salazar Hockenshield, and the Bard/Fighter was named Rythias Rose. In 5E Rythias is straight bard taking the duel wield feat at 4th in place of attribute increase(If allowed), and College of Valor at 3rd.

Things I enjoy about roleplaying games. Character creations especially the back ground story. I love coming up with original back stories for my characters. I enjoy a good fight as much as the next person, but I also like to role play. This means if I have a character who is all fight, he looks for fights, but I play a character who only fights when he has to I try to resolve issues without fighting.

If we are ever on a voice chat program I like talking about my past characters as long as it don't interfere with the gaming.
