Father of two.
Used to play (mostly GM) from the mid-80's up to the end of the last Millenium. Now I picked up the rulebooks and dice again to GM form my son and his friends. And I realized I've missed it. And that while there is a lot of good to say about playing RPG's with your kids I also wouldn't mind doing it with grown-ups.
I suppose I'm a bit of a split personality when it comes to RPG's. As a GM I really like crunchy games, GURPS have been a long time favourite of mine, but once I sit down at the table the story is what matters. Roll the dice. I might look at them if I don't already have a good idea of what the outcome should be to further the story.
