I have been an avid roleplayer for most of my life. I got started on this long road when I first picked up the original D&D Basic Set in the pink box and I've been hooked ever since. I am an older gamer (obviously), but I like to think that I can play with anyone who's at least semi-mature and willing to help everyone at the table have a good time. I've enjoyed many (many!) game systems over the years, but my favorites are Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, and most recently the Cypher System by Monte Cook Games. I am very much a story-oriented GM and player. I tend to build my adventures around the characters instead of fitting the characters into the adventure, if that makes any sense.
I'm pretty laid back and reasonable (at least I like to think so!) as a GM and player. While I do my best to follow the rules of the game I'm running, I will happily toss them out the window if I think it will make the game more fun for my players. By the same token, I really don't have a lot of love for rules-lawyers at my virtual table. Story always (ALWAYS) comes first in my games. Everything else is fluid. :)
Lastly - and I really wish I didn't have to say this, but apparently I do - I have ZERO tolerance for racism, sexism, LGBTQ+ phobia, QAnon cultists or any other stupidity in the same vein. If any of these things are hobbies of yours, please don't contact me. Thank you.
