Hello all. My name is Jacob. I am a nearing middle aged reformed nerd. I was out of the hobby for over a decade and watched all my pretty books and minis collect dust, but No MORE! I enjoy pretty much anything table top. I want a good story but I prefer it to be based on a core of reality. That doesn't mean that I don't like fantasy or crazy science fiction. Quite to the contrary in fact. I simply prefer a great amount of detail where an explanation is available for the oddities. I revel detail and fluff as much as I like my crunch. I would be classified as a Tactician I suppose but with a heavy emphasis on role play. I love detailed planning and trying to out think the problems posed. Even if the best plan is to "shoot them all in the face" I am totally ok with that but Ill probably try to plan the best way to shoot them all in the face given the time and opportunity. Anyhow I have a good amount of time on my hands and am looking forward to lots of gaming.
