I have played, in the past... D&D (2nd, 3.0, 3.5, 4th Edition), Pathfinder, Shadowrun, World of Darkness (Mage mostly), Exalted, BESM/Tri-Stat (generic and several settings), L5R, Ironclaw/Jadeclaw, GURPS, and the old Bubblegum Crisis RPG. Possibly a few others I'm forgetting. Don't necessarily remember most of them. Heh.
Pathfinder is my preferred system, and I may soon consider stepping into PFS grounds, but really, I'd just be happy to get some of my character concepts out into the wild. Problem is, I usually think pretty deep into them, having run games for over two decades and some people prefer shallower PCs. A few of them aren't "PFS Legal" (one bad apple ruins the bunch unfortunately) - so my interests still generally fall to invested GMs with interest in weaving stories more than just mashing things.
Eh, I hate how that previous paragraph sounds. It's too... stuffy. But I can't really think of a better way to say it. I'd rather not have my concepts fade into obscurity or land in the lap of an apathetic GM, and equally would rather not turn them into interesting NPCs - I've got plenty of those!
I'm always eager to play, but rarely have the chance.
Who knows - maybe I'll run something here eventually.
