I'm 52 years old and a big fan of science fiction and fantasy. I was reintroduced to RPG's recently, after a period away from gaming, as friends from college invited me to join a campaign. I'm interested in playing a second night each week. I enjoy roleplay, cooperative problem solving, strategy and immersion in a story/world. I'm married, working, am raising two kids but as they are getting older I have more time to pursue my own interests. There is not much that I don't read and enjoy in fantasy. Authors whose worlds I would love to roleplay in include Tolkein, obviously, but also Pratchett's Discworld, Bujold's Chalion, Videssos by Turtledove, Niven's world of vanishing magic, Lieber's Lankhamar, Moorcock's Elric saga, Zelazny's fantasy, Saberhagen's sword series or the Thieves World Book setting. My D&D experience was mostly in Forgotten Realms, but I dabbled in other settings. From online gaming I loved the world building in Dragon Age and the Witcher games. I would love to play in an urban renaissance setting similar to the Warhammer Fantasy RolePlay Game. I've been a special education teacher in public schools for more than 25 years--I'm good with people, get along easily with others, collaborate naturally and I am good at finding solutions that make everybody happy.
