I've been a long time tabletop player, I prefer to Roleplay as opposed to roll-play, sure rolls can enhance how well you interact, but nothing beats a well thought out planned speech or action. I am open minded for an old fossil, and don't care about any type of real world influence when we're in the game so long as we're all having fun, leave your hang ups at the door and ENJOY the time you're spending with people. If you have an issue with me, tell me, that way we can solve it together, I am a simple man, and I do things simply, including resolution of issues.
