[LFDM] [PAID] Chill group looking for 5e DM!

Hello! A little bit about us. We are six long-term internet friends (men and women from all walks of life but mostly 30+) with a little bit of casual D&D experience. We absolutely love D&D, but our previous DM is too overloaded with work to continue on adventures with us. We played together for about a year and a half and are looking for a relaxed and fun DM to start up a new journey with! Since our previous experiences were very casual and laid back you will find that none of us are strict about rules and will go along with whatever a DM deems as fair. However, we may need help from time to time about rules and ask questions as needed during the session. We would be looking at this as a fresh start and do not expect a continuation of the story for our previous campaigns. We have previously run LMoP and pieces of Saltmarsh and Dragon Heist. We are down to do any sort of module from a book or a homebrewed adventure. Times and Sessions: + Our best availability is every other weekend starting May 8th. We don’t need to start on May8th, that’s just when our pattern of weekends being open starts. + We would prefer to have sessions be every other week or once a month. Pay: This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of $60 total per session . Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements. What We’re Hoping For: A balance of RP and combat and puzzles. A DM willing to be silly and goofy. ANY experience level. We are open to both new or experienced! A DM open to some of us being a little shy (we will all open up eventually!) The game to take place on Roll20. Someone comfortable with using Discord for the interactions. Preferred somebody LGBTQ+ friendly and inclusive! No webcam, please! We only do voice.

Hello! I'm Alexandra, a paid DM. I would love to DM for you guys if you think I'm an okay fit. Only 21-years-old, but experienced in all sorts of RPGs. I'm female and very LGBTQ+ friendly. I myself am either bi or pan (don't ask which one; I do not know). Let me detail my prices below. Modules from the books: $2.50/hr per person | a total of $60 for a 4 hour session for 6 Prepared Homebrew Adventures: Free (if interested, I have a list) Custom Homebrew Adventures: $1.50/hr per person | a total of $36 for a 4 hour session for 6 As an explanation for the prices, I find homebrew adventures much more fluid and easier to run. So, I put modules at the most expensive, custom homebrew in the middle, and prepared homebrew for free.
Hey Fritz. I'd be happy to DM a Module or a homebrew campaign for your group. Varied styles, inclusive atmosphere and goofy fun all sound great to me. I'm relatively new to Roll20, but I'll pick up the digital tricks as we go. Let me know if you want to talk further. Danger Cat / Kevin
Hi Fritz, what time zones are we looking at, and what starting and end times are possible?
Hey everyone thanks for the replies and the direct messages! I will be relaying all info to my group and will be in touch soon for more questions and info! A general comment on time zones is we are mostly EST, and our PST player (me) has a super flexible schedule. We would prefer evenings but can make most times work!
Just BUMP'ing the thread but it seems our group has gotten a handful of offers already. We're looking through them all and messaging as necessary. Thanks, everyone! Much love
Heya! I’m Kamon, a forever DM for the last decade, and just getting into Roll20. Your group sounds like a lot of fun and one I’d love to DM for! Here’s a little bit about me... Just turned 28 this month, but D&D has been my obsession since I first heard about it as a kid. I’ve played and DM’d AD&D, 3.5 and 5e and tend to throw in fun little elements from previous editions in my games, such as potion miscibility and spell points instead of the Vancian system (all optional, of course)! Additionally, my longest running and current campaign has been going successfully for nearly 3 years! Hopefully I can be as entertaining to you as I am to my current group. More than anything I like to make every session memorable and to make my players feel like heroes. I run a pretty relaxed game, no rules lawyering, and abide by the rule of cool. I’m also an amateur voice actor and try to give every NPC a unique voice and personality. Additionally, my girlfriend will probably listen in and can do character portraits and session customs. I’m free pretty much whenever. Let me know if you think we’d mesh, and I could be ready for a session zero on the 8th!
If no one else works out please message me. I have played for over 30 years. Been playing and DMing on Roll20 for over a year. I purchase modules on roll20 and use 3rd party maps and music for my games. I am what I call fun but serious. I like to joke around and to me having fun is the most important part of the game but I also take DMing seriously being professional about it being prepared and moving the game along. I consider myself a mix of roleplay and combat. (I like to mix them so one doesn't get too monotonous and boring) My main aspect is about stories and plots. I like to focus on adventuring not the mundane. (you will not spend an entire adventure shopping me being a DM). If things don't work out with others and you are interested in what I have to offer message me. Best wishes!!
Fitz and Griev, If you haven't found someone yet I'll throw my hat in the ring. I've been on Roll20 a little over a year and have quite a few tricks for making things run smoother and easier. I use music and effects through Discord with high quality sound. If you're interested, this is the game I think I'd propose to run for you as I find it's potential to be silly highly likely. I started it once but didn't get far as the group fell apart quickly unfortunately but a dedicated group will find subplots, plenty of opportunity to roleplay, character secrets, and more: https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/module/5551/the-darkest-dream-chapter-one-of-the-red-star-rising-campaign Johnny Meatshield
