Tokens not showing up

For the past week or so, there have been many times when I try to drag a token onto the page (dragging the character sheet that the token is attached to) and nothing shows up.  Sometimes it takes up to six or so tries.  It doesn't just happen in peak evening hours and weekends, but almost any time.  I've never had this problem before; my connection is 5G and is very stable.  Is anyone else having this problem?  Thanks for the help!

Just to make sure: are you always dragging the name  of the character out? If you drag from the three horizontal lines, it won't work, as those are only used for reordering the name in the journal.

yes, i'm grabbing as far right as I can sometimes it still doesn't work- the same delay is for the both tokens with sheets and tokens saved in my library (both downloads and purchased items) without sheets, but thanks for trying.
