If it's just Pathfinder or variants, I'd be up for a Pathfinder provided I could play a kinda high concept character. Otherwise, Star Wars, not sequel era please. As for as Pathfinder I have two concepts One is Karla Morningsong, SHe's a half-orc from an orc colony in Stolen Lands called Bitterdark, which is surrounded on three sides by the Lake of Mists and Veils. Now this colony does play into the "traditional" D&D thing of half-orcs having the social position and negative stereotypes African Americans post Civil War, something these colonists are trying to escape from but they and Karla, are more pre-modern Swiss-like in culture than anything, certainly in architecture. Well educated, lots of artificers and pumps to drain the waterlogged land, efficient and well-tended lands, immaculately paved roads in the small city itself (4-5K itself), and lots of mechanical clocks and well-behaved children. Karla is the first/one of the first half orcs to be accepted into Order of the Blue Rose, as a Cavalier, which is a HUGE boon for the Bitterdark community in terms of social respectability, something Karla is well aware of. The way I see her, she's a half orc raised without the usual half-orc baggage. Cavalier, Order of Blue Rose, I would like both mount and a rifle like a Musketeer if possible because I wanted to play her as 16th century German/Swiss Reiter, and given Order of Bue Rose, functionally Golarion's version of an Interpol field agent. LG The other is is an Eoxian Lich, not a bad guy, he did what he had to when the atmosphere blew off, but he's protecting one of those Vaults with still viable, sane Eoxians in them, and he's channeling himself undercover (for game balance reasons) as an adventurer in Golarion looking for some McGuffin to restore Eox. He knows he can't go back in time to prevent the disaster, but he's hoping to find an artifact or bargain with a not evil God to restore the surface of Eox o what it was the day before the event, minus the people then living, plus atmosphere and minus al the undead crap in and around Eox currently, even if that includes himself in the bargain. He is driven to make his world and his people live again and he will pay almost but not any price to see that happen. I don't have a name for him, but I wanted to have a character who has a higher goal than gold and adventure. Even if alignment forces me to say he's evil cause Lich, he's TN at worst. He's got time and he knows to be careful.
