A darkness has fallen on the land. Robed, hooded figures have been conducting raids under cover of dark, burning houses and dragging screaming villagers off to their unholy abode. Some brave souls have attempted to track these hooded figures, and managed to track them back to the Barrows of Old - an ancient burial site rumored to contain an evil that was subdued in the days of legend. Those that entered the Barrow were never seen again, and only those who refused to enter have lived to tell the tale. The local villages have taken up a collection and sent out for help, offering a substantial reward to any heroes brave enough to descend into the Barrow, find what evil lurks there, and stop it before it can spread too far... Against the Barrow King is a 3rd edition D&D module from Alderac Entertainment Group that I've updated for 5th edition D&D. This adventure is a dungeon crawler with very little role playing. This is a game for 4-5 players at level 4. We'll complete this adventure in a single session lasting approximately 4 hours. We'll be using a 27 point buy for stats. Players have starting class equipment available to them. Player inventories will be subject to DM approval. Feel free to use any D&D official source material, except "Ravnica", "Eberron", "Theros", "Wildemount", and Unearthed Arcana. Also, feel free to import your own character! We'll be playing this game on Roll20, but we'll use Discord for audio. Players will receive the Discord server link when the start time approaches.
