[LFG] New player looking for a group to show me the ropes

Hey! Been a lurker for a while, as well as watched many YouTube videos & streams of D&D. Looking to finally jump in and play, wanting to start my adventure ASAP. Unfortunately, none of my friends are really interested in playing and it's difficult to find any local groups at the moment, so the Internet is the way!  I'm available most evenings (UK), and I can play across multiple timezones, regularly and irregularly depending on what you guys want.  Age: 25 Location: UK

I welcome you to join our group, but I'm not sure exactly what you are looking for in your gaming experience.  We play old School 1st Edition D&D classic modules.  You can find 2e, 3.5e and 5e pretty easily as well depending on your preferences. Do you already own the rule books?

I bought myself the D&D Essentials set and have been having a gander through it.
