Is there a way to create a map on Roll20, using vendor based components, and then be able to export that into another platform? For example, the grid system in Gimp perhaps? Thanks in advance.

You can download most map sets (that's a preference set by the marketplace creator) and assemble in GIMP or Photoshop. But Roll20 does not have an export feature that allows you to export a map assembled within the VTT. The only real option is a series of screenshots, followed by stitching.
