She captures, in the slightest gesture and inflection, a perfection that you had once believed to exist only in storybooks and myth. She is, indeed, a princess. "I wish that it were under happier circumstances and calmer skies that I welcomed you to Anach, so that we might prepare a royal feast and listen to your tales in better company. Unfortunately, that is not to be, at least for now. Instead of telling tales, I fear that I must ask you to make new ones. "Three days ago, Royal Miners discovered the hidden lair of the Wreyland Serpent, a black dragon who has ravaged our lands for as long as memory allows. All but one of the men who worked there were savagely butchered by the creature. "I beg of you, deliver my people from this foul beast!" The Wreyland Serpent is a 3rd edition D&D module from Fantasy Flight Games that I've updated for 5th edition D&D. This adventure is a high-magic dungeon crawl with very little role-playing. This is a game for 4-5 players at level 12. We'll complete this adventure in a single session lasting approximately 4-5 hours. We'll be using a 27 point buy for stats. Players have starting class equipment, as well as 2000 gp for weapons, armor, sundries, spell components, and common magic items. Players may also choose one free uncommon magic item, priced per the Discerning Merchant's Price Guide . Player inventories will be subject to DM approval. Players may use D&D official source material from Player's Handbook , Volo's Guide to Monsters , Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes , Xanathar's Guide to Everything , Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide , Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft , or any of the campaign or campaign companion books (e.g. Hoard of the Dragon Queen or Elemental Evil Player's Companion ). You may source items from any of these books or the Dungeon Master's Guide . Feel free to import your own character! We'll be playing this game on Roll20, but we'll use Discord for audio.
