One of the players in our campaign was a no-show at our first session last Friday; it'd be nice to get a replacement. You won't have missed much plot- the session was mostly character creation. The party so far is a soldier, a combat medic, and a pickpocket. The system is True20. It's a fairly lightweight D20 descendant, so if you're familiar with D&D/D20 then you'll already be pretty familiar with True20. The books are readily available online. The campaign is fairly combat-heavy, but the fact that the PCs have been wrenched away from their homes and lives provides some amount of pathos for RP.
