Some monster and player options in D&D 5e give the creature an ability to change forms, for example lycantropes, hags, certain boss monsters in modules, druid wildshape, etc. As Represented in the image above, it is currently not possible to add a token from the map to a rollable table. Update: If you place down a Multi-Sided Token, and assign values to one of the sides, then those values will be stored for the other side. You can then proceed to save that Multi-Sided Token to a character journal as their token, and it will still be the same Multi-Sided token when you drag it out for use later. However, because the monster artwork (and sometimes other artwork too) is not available in the user's library after purchasing some books*, it means that this can not be done for monsters. To state the obvious, this technique cannot be used for monsters because the user does not have access to the monster's artwork and token and therefore cannot add it from the library to a rollable table. *Player's Handbook, Monster Manual, Volo's Guide to Monsters, Mordekainen's Tome of Foes, Explorerer's Guide to Wildemount, All Adventure Modules, Mythical Oddessey of Theros, Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, Guildmaster's Guide to Ravnica, Eberron: Rising from the Last War, etc
