Glitch when trying to delete files

I've been trying to delete some maps I no longer need, and they disappeared from my library (both the Recent Uploads folder and the list,) but have not disappeared from the pages I used them on and are clearly still taking up my storage space. Pretty sure this is some kind of bug as I did exactly the same thing I always do to delete unneeded files. I also tried closing out the game and reopening it and the files are there/space is still taken up.

Try deleting the image cache on your computer. If they are not in your recent uploads folder (and you have not clicked the filter button to hide items that have been placed in folders), they should be gone. You can also try verifying by logging in with a browser you do not normally use. What method are you using that indicates they are still taking up space?

Thank you for the reply, they seem to have cleared up overnight, but I will try clearing the cache next time it happens. The files were big enough that I could tell they were sill there by my storage quota, and they also didn't disappear drom the pages I had used them on.
