Text colour changing

Hi, Apologies if this has already been asked I'm new to macros. Trying to change the text colour and play around with formatting of the text. Does anyone know the set up. I've managed to find things that say to do --format|atwill and --txcolour but can't find information in regards to how this joins together as well as $$#900 but same issue. I know there's only so much that can be done on a free account but always worth an ask for future anyways. Also if anyone knows about setting up options in a drop down menu style. If not then I'm going to see what I can do in relation to this.  Thanks for any help anyone can give :)

API Scripter
So, you likely found some descriptions of API scripts for changing text color.&nbsp; Those require a Game created by someone with an active Pro subscription, and of course to have the scripts installed. There isn't really a way to change the color of text in the chat without the API, sorry to say.&nbsp; You're basically restricted to the Markdown formatting:&nbsp;&nbsp; <a href="https://help.roll20.net/hc/en-us/articles/360039675093-Text-Chat#TextChat-BasicFormatting" rel="nofollow">https://help.roll20.net/hc/en-us/articles/360039675093-Text-Chat#TextChat-BasicFormatting</a> None of those commands change the color though, and there isn't much in the way of variation you can control.

Thank you! :) Thought there could have been a reason. I'm going to be getting a pro subscription in future so will have to wait until then. I'll look into API's in that case in the meantime just won't be able to apply them until that time.
There is an 'HTML Style Injection' trick that can be used for text you are sending to chat, but it won't be able to change any rolls that come from character sheets or other sources, and it requires a bit of setup and use of macros - it's not a 'set it and forget it' kind of game setting. Or if you're only concerned with your own display, you can use the Stylus extension to adjust what is displayed on your computer. There's lots of examples in the Stylening Threads .
