New Roll 20 DM here. I know I can edit default token settings from within the Game Settings. However I would like to create default settings for Characters/Journal Entries, that I place onto the map. For example. I created a Journal entry "Torch," as an NPC, therefore when I place it into the world, I'd like it to have default light settings (20 + 20 dim [per DnD 5e]). Adjacently, I have an Journal Entry/NPC for the Cleric's "Light Spell" which gives the same light settings. Every time I place Torch or Cleric: Light onto the map it reverts to a default 5 dim light. However, I do not want to edit the game settings for default token's as it will change every token I place. Sounds like I need a script? TLDR: Is there a way to edit default token settings for specific Journal Entries, rather than the entire game settings? Sorry if this is a noob question. Thanks.
