A
mysterious artifact surfaces in the City of Cats, and those who desire it will
stop at nothing to bring it into their grasp. Explore the eternal city of Per
Bastet, and its seedy underworld of power-hungry gnoll slavers and ruthless
feline swashbucklers. Part of the brand new "Southlands" expansion to
the world of Midgard, it adds an element of mystique inspired by Egyptian
mythology and art to a world that is already reach in lore and historical
detail.
This
campaign will appeal to players who are fans of the Indiana Jones archetype,
and are looking to explore forgotten secrets, delve into dangerous ruins, and
recover powerful relics.This is a short term campaign of about five sessions,
with the players reaching 5th level by the end, making it suitable for beginner
players. We will play over Roll20 and Discord. We will use the
additional Midgard race and class options, including those published for the
Southlands setting.

Content
warnings: The game might feature the amount of violence typical to a D&D
adventure, though players will be empowered to choose non-violent solutions in
many cases, if the group decides on that together. The enemies include humanoid
races. There are also themes of mind control and domination magic, slavery, and
possibly violence against animals. The game moves through a lot of different
modes of play, and allows players to figure out their own different ways to
solve the challenges presented. Each of the three adventures has a fairly
unique style, exploring different elements of the Southlands setting: the urban
decadence of the City of Cats, a powerful curse contained in an ancient relic, and
the secrets hidden by the desert sands in forgotten ruins.
