Wasn't sure where to place this, but I wanted to get this out there somewhere in case it helps someone. I was playing weekly on Roll20 for about a year and then all of the sudden I was losing connection all the time. It pretty much became unplayable. I tried different computers (Gaming household), notebooks, ipads, phones etc and figured it was my network. I replaced one of the switches (2 floor house with a basement- Gig ethernet) since I found other issues (not getting a gig on 2 lines) Anyways, my router is the Linksys Velop system (bought it years ago) and as far as I could tell everything checked out. It was only roll20 that I was having problems. I decided to try vpn, and it started working perfectly. I was like ok somehing outside of my control was causing this enroute. While testing VPN, I would go to whatsmyip.com to verify I was on for sure. Thats when I noticed the problem. My home network was only requesting an external ip6 address. No IP4. Something must have gotten switched over in my router. So I found the setting and life is perfect once again with using VPN. So, it seems that roll20... or somethig between here (upstate NY) and wherever the servers are, doesn't like IP6. So check your settings if you are having problems. Hope this helps someone.
