exporting multiple characters

So I hope I word this correctly.  I have an account with a few purchased books and play on a 5e West Marches server, all one-shot games. My son wants to join me.  I would like to let him use my purchased books to create and level up characters.  Exactly how does that work? Do I just have both of us log into the same account?  Do I invite him to a game that I host and have him manage his character(s) from HIS account, but in MY game? And how would exporting work in either of those cases?

I suggest you create a game using the character sheet of the game you both want to play in. Your son joins that game with their own account. You both use your own character vaults to transfer your characters between that game and the playing game.

Create game for Character creation Turn on Compendium Sharing in it, so players get access to all the compendiums in character creation In the game, Create empty character sheet, set the "In Player's Journal" & "Can be Edited & Controlled by" both to "All Players" invite him to the game And how would exporting work in either of those cases? As you're a free account , you can only export characters to games if the game creator is a Plus/Pro user, and have turned on "character import" for the game. Ask from the host of the West Marches game if you're unsure. More about Character Sheet Import/Export can be found on Character Vault If the game host is Free user but have import turned on, someone with plus/pro could join you sheet creation game and import/export the sheet to the West Marches game on the behalf of both of you. If the import/export potion isn't possible at all, then just have both games open and manually copy info from one game to the other.
