Being sent double notifications

Recently set up a game application for a new D&D game, thought I was getting a few posts or so, only for the notifications to be sending me duplicates. Is there a way to stop this or has others been coping with it?

Did you follow that thread? That is one cause for double notifications. If you were the original poster, you will automatically get a notification to any reply in the thread so there is no need to follow. If this is in your LFG page and you followed a thread, you could be getting a double notification. Any post in your LFG page sends a notification to the game's creator so there is no need to follow it unless you are not the game's creator.
