Not able to paste an image into a Handout or Character Sheet text box anymore

I am running a GoT game and inside the NPC descriptions, I tend to add the image of their House's banner. I have been doing it lately without any issues, but today I have tried and I am not do it anymore. While editing I paste the image and it shows just fine, but when I save all the changes it disappears from what it shows in the Handout description. I still have plenty of space in my account, so I don't know what is going on.

The Roll20 forums have a weird quirk. You can paste graphics directly copied from an online source, or uploaded from your computer, but you cannot successfully copy something from your hard drive and paste into the forum window. I believe it has something to do with some essential metadata.

As a matter of fact, I am trying to upload from an online source, the same way that I said that I have been doing for a while. This problem has begun in the last 24 hours.

Your first post didn't say anything about the source you were copying from . The copy-paste quirk I spoke of is something users often run up against. I would suggest gathering a Console Log ( Chrome ,  Firefox ) from the time this happens and using it to file a  Help Center Request .

Hi R20 S! That info needs to be sent in a&nbsp; Help Center Request , where it will generate a ticket and be assigned to a team member for investigation. Forum reports have low visibility and oversight.

I have the same issue. The problem comes when I have to copy &amp; paste one image from the web or stored in Roll20. Normally, I could take that image into a handout and then display it, but now it doesn't let me and I have to copy an old image I uploaded before. This means, any new image is not displaying in the handout/text area but it is displaying in the header part for images. So I guess is a recent problem because I usually upload new images to Roll20 and copy them to the handouts. I think it's not a big problem but I would like to know the solution.&nbsp; Now the images aren't shown, and instead it's shown a white box, if I have resized the image, or nothing–or something near to a break line. In the forum this feature seems to be functioning correctly. As shown below. The method I followed was searching for a Roll20 logo, selecting this , and then copy and paste the image (not using the link and the picture bottom available in the forum–but not available in the game handouts). So the only known procedure to include a picture in the text area is to copy and paste it from somewhere in the web (including Roll20), and this feature is not working. &nbsp;

Can confirm also happening on my end. This doesn't seem to be just a 'you' problem. The feature just suddenly stopped working for me last night.

I have reported this, and I urge others to also file a&nbsp; Help Center Request , to raise awareness of the issue. This and the inability to change font colors seems to be an issue that has sprung up around the same time. Also happening on my end.

Alright, sent a request. Although the font colour problem has gotten a reply, I hope this issue does too, because I find this issue to be far more problematic than not being able to change the font colour (which is more of a mild hindrance).

I'm here to confirm that I at least am once again experiencing this very frustrating bug.&nbsp;

I have the same problem.

The bug is fixed for me now, so I can get back to building my game.

I'm still having trouble. Certain image sources that previously would work now don't when pasting them in handouts or in the chat box. They just revert to showing the image file's name.
