Player Looking for Game [D&D5e] [Text Only]

Hi! I'm looking to join a group as a player. For reasons at home, I'm unable to use a mic for voice chat games and I also just generally prefer text after playing like this for years now. I'm into all kinds of stuff; anime, fighting games, fantasy vidya games, etc etc. I'm a very active player so you usually don't need to worry about whether I'll show up/stay focused unless something big happens, such as an asthma attack. I have several years of experience with 5e though if someone wants to invite me into a group playing a different system, I'd be more than happy to join and learn that system. I have some experience with Pathfinder 1e and very little with 2e. My discord is Spoonri#6763.
Hey, Spoonri, I'm a Text GM, and I have an opening in my ongoing game. Perhaps this is up your alley: https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/147573/the-sunkillers-brass-dragon-circus-and-traveling-sideshow Check it out and post a character if you're interested.

Thanks for the offer but the idea for being in a circus doesn't sound too interesting to me, sorry.
I have two games that I am GMing. They are both voice based, but I wouldn't mind a player communicating only by chat and would give space for text communication. Neither are DnD, but neither system is complicated and they are both more narrative based. One is low fantasy where everyone is an animal character in a war-torn forest. The other is a weird paranormal investigation game. Root: Gelilah's Grove | Roll20: Online virtual tabletop The Lamb that Slaughters the Lion | Roll20: Online virtual tabletop

End up feeling more like a side character or a pet to the lads in voice than an actual member in the group. Sorry :( Thanks for the offer though, I appreciate it.
Roll20 is a tough place to find many text rpgs, but there are forums dedicated to it, like GamersPlane, and a r/PbP reddit group. My apologies if that's not helpful - I hope you find what you are looking for!

My apologies if that's not helpful - I hope you find what you are looking for! r/PbP tends to have... well... play by post games, where you dont have a set game day and just send a post whenever people are available throughout the week. Its as if you're playing by mail lol... Not really a fun style of play imo. Never heard of gamersplane though, thanks for the advice, I'll go check it out!
