New DM Needs Players

I am a new Dm trying to find 3-4 players to play a hopefully long campaign based around pre-existing modules. The game should hopefully be weekly though the exact day is currently undecided and may shift, though any changes will be discussed well beforehand to ensure all players are able to attend. Luckily the starting time should always be around 4pm CST starting time hoping to run for 4-5 hours. For applications please list the following : Character Name (Player Name or preferred name optional) Experience with Dnd and Roll20 Race Class Physical Description (include age, notable features, size and weight) A summary of Character's Personality (quirks, flaws, habits, general behaviors) A Short Description of Character Backstory or General Concept (Optional, can be shared here or as private message if you wish) (Optional) Answer one of the following prompts as your character (you may choose to answer more if you wish) (Just include the number in response instead of writing out the whole prompt) 1. Your party must venture into the deepest depths of a cursed forest, provisions run low, the path becomes rougher and rougher with every hour, your party is unsure if you are still heading in the right direction. What do you do to contribute to the party? Do you venture forward or turn back to civilization?  2. A fellow party member has been uncharacteristically quiet and goes out of their way to divert attention from them, they seem distraught about something but you can't quite figure out why. What do you do, if anything, about the situation at hand? Do you believe that your fellow party members put any trust in you? If you were in their place would you want to trust the party to help? 3. You and your party is deep within an ancient monument, you find yourself having to fight off unknown beasts with each fight drawing more and more out of you and your party. In the most recent battle one of you allies is injured but it's difficult to assess the severity and you don't know if it's safe to take care of it. What do you do, if anything, about the situation at hand? Do you consider fleeing, moving forward or something else for what to do next? How do you feel about the possibility of losing an ally or even meeting your own unfortunate end? Does experiencing a close call change how you act towards them or how you handle future situations? 4. You have a short moment to rest after a major battle, everything seems safe for the moment as you stumble across a very valuable magic item. The item in question at first glance seems to be highly beneficial to you but you do not know its exact properties and is small enough to be easily concealed. How do you react to finding the object? Do you inform the rest of the party about the discovery? Do you feel it is fair for anybody to take claim to useful magic items before considering the possible applications it may have with anybody else? 5. Your party is talking to an individual that you have sought out for answers to an important question, but you get a strange feeling about them. You can't seem to discern quite why but something seems to be off about this individual. Your party informs you that they all want to hear what they have to say and reminds you of the importance of the information at hand. What do you do, if anything, about the situation at hand? Do you often let instincts, logic or other forms of reasoning steer your actions? How do you respond, if at all, to being the only one in opposition of the party's actions and choices?
Character Name: (Skelly) Wedge Stonefist Experience with Dnd and Roll20: about 6-8 years now Race: Earth Genasi Class: Astral Monk Physical Description: He is 26 and around 7 foot tall due to his father being a Goliath. His skin is a dark brown dirt like skin with tattoos of bright orange that look like ones of Goliath. He weighs about 150-170 ponds. A summary of Character's Personality: He is usually the strong silent type but he when addressed he will answer openly and honestly most of the time. He is a straight forward thinker and is always on guard. Even tho he is solitary person he would go out of his way to help the innocent and who can't defend themselves. A Short Description of Character Backstory or General Concept: He is the third oldest of 7 kids, he has 3 sisters and 3 bothers. He had helped his father in the fields of his village home. Until one night he had a dream like no other, it was filled violence and destruction then a large translucent figure come down from the mountain tops. It was as tall as a giant and skin made of stone and eyes a blazed with coals of fire. It had an aura of order peace and tranquility, calming all around them. The figure spoke to Wedge and set him on the path he is on today. TO BE CONTINUED... Q1: I (Wedge) would ask everyone for a moment of respite to collect our selves and come to a decision, I would lean towards continuing on. Q2: I would pull them aside when we have a free moment and ask them what is wrong away from the rest of the party, I feel i would have some trust in them but i think i would grow over time. Q3: I would attempt to try to heal the injurie but if the area feels like something is on the horizon i would like to get out of there and come back better prepared.
Replying to get into the pool, will update more with a character sometime tonight after work.
Character Name (Player Name or preferred name optional): Adrian Geller (Kal or Adrian) Experience with Dnd and Roll20: I have no experience as a player, though I've been a DM in a few small-scale games and have read a lot. (I have over 100 hours on Roll20) Race : Human or Half-Elf Class : Fighter, Monk, Paladin, or maybe even Warlock. (I'm flexible, but my vision is some from of polearm user with just a dash of magic(or ki) Physical Description (include age, notable features, size and weight):  Adrian has an impressive physique for his small-town upbringing, but fairly average as far as adventurers go, he has a mop of dark curly hair that is sometimes tide back, he doesn't have any noticeable scars or markings(yet). (If I'm accepted, I can have a character art made) A summary of Character's Personality (quirks, flaws, habits, general behaviors): Adrian looks up to 'heroes' and 'adventurers' with reverence, he is fairly respectful of anyone, but can be naive with social cues and overzealous in regards to those he sees as 'bad guys' such as monsters and criminals. A Short Description of Character Backstory or General Concept (Optional, can be shared here or as private message if you wish):  Adrian was born into a branch family of the Gellers. The Gellers as a whole are fairly well known in many places for churning out fairly successful adventurers. In Adrian's case, this is less so. Adrian's branch family of the Gellers is several generations removed, and while they have stories and get a small income from the main family, they have not produced any successful adventurers, yet . I don't want to put too much detail into it before speaking with the DM and getting some input.) Q1: I   (Adrian) would certainly push forward, and try to urge on the rest of the party as hard as he can if there is chance for success. He would look for a place to rest, the party would do well to have a break, rest their feet and try to think. Q2: If I know them well, I would approach and try to directly talk about it, make it known that I am here to help my party, my friends. If it's someone new, or I am new to the party, I am more likely to stand back and still try to offer support, but more cautiously, possibly investigating through other party members. Q3: I would put myself between danger and my ally, calling for someone else to help with the injury or carry them away if need be. I have no issues risking my life for my friends. Q4:  I would certainly let the party know what I found, even if I knew I could get away with 'stealing' it, I have my own wants and needs but the adventure life demands allies, so the team comes before the individual. I think that if the party can't agree on who would get it, it should be sold and the proceeds divided equally.

Character Name (Player Name or preferred name optional) Player name is Pat, will decide character name if chosen. Experience with Dnd and Roll20  Been playing DnD since late 90's-early 2000's, have not really used roll 20 since the early days of the program. Race Half-elf Class Artificer Physical Description (include age, notable features, size and weight) Early 20's, pale, scrawny, glasses, almost always has some soot marks or singed clothes from an experiment in progress, tips of fingers are perpetually stained with ink. A summary of Character's Personality (quirks, flaws, habits, general behaviors) If I get bored, I will start to sketch in my notebook new ideas for inventions.  Easily bored, but also easily excited by the idea of new discoveries and adventure. A Short Description of Character Backstory or General Concept (Optional, can be shared here or as private message if you wish) After a few too many failed experiments, I have been sent away from my families home in order to find someone to help teach me to control both the budding magical energies I am exhibiting, as well as to create things that do not randomly blow up.  However, instead of going to live among the gnomes, known for similar types of experiments, I have set off on my own to figure things out for myself.  After all, a lab is all well and good, but who wants to be stuck underground for years? 1. I will have (or think I have) just the right invention in my sketchbook for just this situation.  Unfortunately, I haven't gotten around to creating the prototype just yet.  In the mean time, I say we return to town to restock, and come back with more, and better, supplies. 2. Early on, I probably would not even notice a change.  People are strange in the best of times, and adventuring is hardly the best of times.  Once I am aware, however, I will offer my services in solving whatever ails them.  Of course my party trusts in me, my inventions will carry us through any storm.  As long as they don't fail, again.  4. I don't think I would be able to contain my excitement for a new, shiny, magical item to experiment with.  This would be just the thing I need to either inspire my latest work, or my to make something have been working on finally work right.  If it helps someone else more, then they can have it onceI fully understand what it can do, and how it does what it does.   5. I would probably be the one saying that we need to hear what they have to say.  If somethings is wrong, we can fix it later, but right now, more information is always better.  I try to make the smartest choice that I see in any situation.
