Dynamic Lighting Selection Issues.

I'm hoping someone can help, to me this seems like a bug and can get extremely irritating when trying to prepare a map for a weekly session. I've only recently began to use dynamic lighting in my game and it went down a treat last night, I decided to get a jump on my next map and started setting out the lighting boundries. I set up the outer walls by tracing the map and then started to put in my door lines as I usually do. When trying to select these lines I fine clicking directly on them does not select that line and when I drag to select it instead selects massive chunks of my map outline instead or as well as the door lines. It's in my campaign jewel of the north and is making set up extremely difficult at this point in time. Edit: I found this post https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/711093/drawings-and-dynamic-lighting#post-714018 which describes the same issue as far as I can see. I'm unable to select induvidual lines even when using different thickness and trying to directly click on the lines i want to move. I put my red trace which is my wall layouts in regular and tried doors in thick which still didn't work.

I saw a post at one point about this problem. I seem to recall that it is easiest to select the correct line if you are at 100% zoom. Additionally, if you draw fewer line segments, the problem is reduced. I believe what is happening is that you have drawn a very large outline shape around your map. When you click and miss the line you want, you are actually hitting the transparent portion of your large outline and selecting it (pretty much anywhere in it's bounding box, if you're familiar with that term.). If you draw only segments of your walls, you should be able to select the other lines by click-dragging.

Clicking to select lines has always been a bit tricky in Roll20. There is also a bit of a bug regarding where the click to select area is located while the zoom is lower than 100%. The best practice is to use single segment lines whenever possible. In the first image (Bad practice) below the lines are continuous (a two segment line). You can see that the size of the object is much larger than the lines themselves (5x6 grid squares). As a result when you "drag to select" the object you will get that object plus any other nearby objects. In the second and third images (Good practice) the two line segments have been drawn separately. You can see that the size of the objects are limited to just the lines. As a result when you "drag to select" the object you are more likely to only get that object. Bad practice: Good practice:
Thanks for the suggestion folks! I'll give that a try today, I guess an extra right click between line segments doesn't add too much time to my outline. I'll give it a go and let you know how i get on!
Update! Using your methods have helped a whole heap and I now have my lighting working properly. I understand it's still a bug that at some point will need addressing but this work around is appreciated :)
