Awww, cool dogg you've got there. I'm not starting a new game or running one right now, if I was then I'd invite you. Welcome to the hobby. I hope you find a good group. In regards some Game titles listed on your roll20 profile, just to let you know: Basic Fantasy RPG is a free game system. I recommend it. You can get the rules PDF and read Chapters 1-5 on your own. That would be a good starting place in my opinion. Their website is basicfantasy dot org. Go into Downloads, and get the "3rd edition" PDF. Swords & Wizardry is another game that's similar to BFRPG, similar to AD&D, similar to Basic D&D (old school). You may have just listed these titles because of the fun and cool name of the game, if you're not already aware of what each game system is. D&D 5E is the most-likely game for you to start on and play. It's the current game, that is currently being marketed, produced, expanded. 5E has the most players here, and the most games available to join, including beginner games. As a 40-something long time ("old school") player myself, I'd recommend BFRPG. Personally I run the most games using BFRPG, and AD&D 2nd Edition (the game as it was in 1989-1999). But I wanted to help clear that up for you, that 5E is the "new school" game system, the most popular with most people playing it online. There certainly are people of all age-groups, playing all of these games.
