Need to constantly refresh map

In the last several weeks I have noticed when playing with a group of people the map will stop updating and I will need to reload. This only happens when the party logs in. If I am logged in alone everything works fine. This only happens when the other players are logged in and It happens regardless if I am a player or DM. Anyone run into this?

Hi Ross! This sounds like a problematic connection to the firebase server, maybe. Have you tried using a different browser or running under a private browsing window?

Turns out it seems to happen when anyone uses the measuring tool, which mysteriously does not work for me. I have nothing extra running.

And you are using either Chrome or Firefox and have tried running under a private browsing window?

The problem happens in both chrome and firefox and yes I tried a private browsing window.

Having covered the most likely candidates, my suggestion is to gather a Console Log ( Chrome ,  Firefox ) from the time of one of the errors, and file a  Help Center Request . Losing updates after someone uses the measuring tool is definitely outside of normal issues. If you do get success from that route, please post back so that folks with similar problems might gain insight.
