Hi I'm 29 (M) who started to play 5E a couple of years ago. I was in one campaign that lasted the majority of the 2 years using discord VC and R20 before the DM had to stop due to work commitments. I had a short break before playing in two sessions of LMOP for a player of the first campaign who wanted to try being a DM before they wanted to stop as they didn't have the time to prep. So after a few months just hoping someone starts a gam in the group I know online (none of my friends irl want to play and I'm not confident enough in my knowledge to try being a DM just yet) I thought I would post here to see if anyone is after a player. I'm a very chill person and happy to try new things but in my first campaign I was a dwarf fighter so I'm experienced with combat rather than heavy RP. I'm probably on the older side for being new to the game but I've enjoyed myself thoroughly when I play. Hoping to play with people who are around my age, have patience when Im hesitant on a particular aspect of playing or not sure 100% of the ruling. I won't need to be hand held, just guided now and again. Happy to talk on discord if that's what people prefer
