So, I haven't been DMing that long in Roll20. One of the things that seems to elude me is effective management of effects in the Turn Tracker. Can someone help me understand "best practice" for this? So, let's say you have this tracker: Helga 18 Dragon 15 Biff 13 In round one, Helga attacks, and then the dragon uses its breath weapon. I know it recharges on a 5-6, but I always forget about that. I know some people use the tracker to put that in there. How do you guys manage something like that? Or like, a specific effect that lasts 3 rounds? I also kind of struggle with the best process for setting up a combat. Do I have the players roll init first? Monsters? Do I reset the round counter first? The only API I'm using that ties to the Turn Tracker is TurnMarker1. And I guess group-init. I guess just looking for advice from vet DMs who have done this a thousand times. Things just never seem to quite work as I expect! Thanks!
