Add a Texture to Dynamic Lighting Darkness

I don't use Dynamic Lighting as a GM, and I hate it when GMs use it. No small part of this is because if for whatever reason I do find myself in total darkness without the ability to see, I just see blackness. It's annoying and just makes me uncomfortable staring at a pitch black screen. I think allowing either for custom textures to be uploaded by GMs and possibly changing it from pitch black to a softer black or adding a texture might help significantly.
Are you able to see your own token? If not, it has no vision enabled. If the map is completely blank it does not have to mean the GM uses dynamic lighing. It maybe just standard FoW. The effect for players are nearly the same! (when DL is used you are usually able to see your token) Noah the Goblin said: I don't use Dynamic Lighting as a GM, and I hate it when GMs use it. I think what Noah is asking (and Noah, please correct me if I'm mistaken!) is for the unseen areas of the screen, whether due to DL or FOW to use a different color than pure black:
Yes, that would be nice. Really I just don't like pure black. It also has caused problems in  some of my games as players cannot tell where it is Fog of War and where it is a black wall on a Black-and-White Dungeon Map. Ok. This might be useful but only in case you have the B/W maps... MAYBE they are going to implement this (FoW with choosable color) as they have to fix a lot of things regarding VTT and Lags...
