Chat Archive never loads, becomes a memory hog

In one of my games, if I ever try to refer to the chatlog, it opens and presents the blank roll20 background with the Hide Whispers button in the top-right, but nothing else ever loads. After only a few seconds, the ram usage jumps to ~500,000K, with CPU at ~25. It only happens in this one game, and no others, so I'm assuming it's related to the large amounts of dice being rolled in it(Exalted, the game in which rolling 10-20 dice at a time is the norm), or the amount of messages in the overall archive.(This is the longest running game I've been in.)

It's also worth noting that everyone else in the group seems to be able to access the archive just fine. I'm not the GM of the game, and we're in the middle of a session, so I'll have to ask him to give me a join link later, once we're done.
