Welp, I bought the new book, so I suppose I should try to get some use out of it. To that end, I'm hoping there are some newb-friendly groups out there that need another player, and that don't mind me learning as we go. Apparently a load of stuff has changed since 4e, which is the only other edition I've played, so I've got my work cut out for me. I'm not sure which idea to go with first, either: the halfling sorcerer, or some kind of paladin. D&D aside, I've played a bit of Dark Heresy, some L5R, and a load of Numenera--that's been my favorite game so far, by the way. I was in a campaign that ran for nearly a year, and it was freaking awesome. I'm okay with a bit of dungeon crawling, but I also really like social stuff and exploration. Basically, the more story-intensive and character-focused a game is, the more into it I can get. I'm available most times on the weekend, and I get home from work around 4:30-5 PM PST on weekdays. Thanks in advance...
