Why pay for a game?
DM consistency and

cost as a drink at a tavern ;) .
There are currently 3 weekly games available for Shadow
of the Illithid . The games will continue weekly after they have started
(after at least three players are secured with intensions of playing weekly).
Players may join anytime in the ongoing campaign when slots become available.

A Spelljammer Campaign taking 3-5
players from 1 st to 6 th level. Players travel to known
and unknown regions of wildspace, sail the Astral Sea, fight in ship-to-ship
combats, buy their own ship, hire a crew, attempt to foil the plans of the
Illithid and Beholder empires, visit the Rock of Bral, fly on a smalljammer,
etc.…
There is no set crew structure so PCs
can play a ‘Guardians of the Galaxy/Farscape’ democracy or create your own structure. My game is designed so no prior knowledge of
spelljamming rules is needed (you will learn as you play.) There will be
downtime (in game) for character development and learning new skills/spells.
About Me
Hello. I am DMC
(Dungeon Master Chad). I am a
veteran DM with over 40 years of experience.
I have 3-years-experience on roll20 (over a 1000 hours) and am a published
writer on Kindle, The Complete Pulp Sci Fi Vol.1-3 . I first played
spelljammer when it first came out in 1989 and have run Spelljamming campaigns
for over 10 years.
Gameplay
My games are in
an immersive movie type format
with music, original AI generated art and graphics, scripted dialog, and
occasional sound effects. Game sessions are 3 hours long with a 10 min bio
break. I try to balance my games with 50% roleplaying/50% fighting. I am a ‘kind
DM’ who sticks to the rules. I like to integrate Action-Humor-Intrigue
in my campaign world, a world which revolves around the player characters. All
my dice rolls are open to promote fairness. I have highly developed time
management skills to give players more fluid gameplay and playing time. I can
adjust the campaign to any party size.
As long as there
are three players, I will run the game.
I have many side adventures and one-shots ready for players who still want to
play when the entire group is not able to show. A long as there are three
dedicated players, we will play!
Players
Players must be 18 years or older. I run an adult
gaming environment (mostly PG13) with respect to all people and cultures. Prior
D&D 5e experience is preferred, though not necessary. All I ask is that you
come to each session distraction-free. That includes not being a
distraction. Chaotic stupids and murderhobos need not apply.
I am very patient with new players. Players are
allowed any race or class within the official rules. Players will use the point
system or standard stats in character creation. Characters will be given the
option to take a Secret (background hook) at character creation,
which ties into the campaign world.
Characters are expected to be finished and ready before
gameplay. Players
are expected to follow a code of conduct which honors the other players and the
DM.
Discord is used for in game audio and text communication.
Game Cost
This game will require payment to the Game Master at
a rate of $15 per game through Paypal. Roll20 is not responsible for any
payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements.

Note:
I also run private weekly
group games and run smaller groups for private game sessions. Private Group: $20/session
per player (3 player minimum). Two player games: $30/session per player and one
player game: $60/session. This is perfect for couples or independent players.
