Dynamic Light

Hi, I have recently acquired dynamic light, but it seems to be not working properly. My tokens with night vision can see just fine, however my problem is with the tokens that don´t have night vision, my light sources are not emmiting any light even if I mark the option to bright and low light. What could I be doing wrong? Thank you

Hi Gabriel! Here's a "why can't my players see anything?" checklist. The important thing is to verify. Don't assume. This list is written with GMs in mind, but can help players work through issues with their GM. The token is on the VTT It is assigned to the character The player has control over the character The token is on the Token/Object layer It is not blocked off by DL lines from seeing the immediate surroundings Make sure the player is looking at their token's immediate area. Shift-Click and hold on the token to pull the player's view to that area. If Fog of War is being used, that the area the token is in has been cleared The player has not been Split from the Party (Check the Help Center if this is unfamiliar) If Dynamic Lighting of any kind is being used: The token has sight turned on The token has a light source, or Nightvision (UDL) or personal light (LDL) In UDL it may be necessary to move the token one square to get everything working, or in extreme cases, refresh the (user's) page. Can you see a rotating cube in this URL ? If not, the browser needs to be WebGL compatible (99%+ are).

The above is a general checklist. If you can provide screen shots of token and page settings, along with a description of how you aretesting, that would help us pinpoint where the problem might be.
Hi, Thank you for your response . The Browser I am using is Microsoft edge. Here are some prints about my problem.
Page configuration
Page Dynamic Light configuration
Player token, dynamic light configuration
Player token configuration of who is able to control
Torch Dynamic light configuration
Here is a image where you can see that the torch is not emmiting any sort of light

This is going to seem weird/not very intuitive, but have you tried turning the Vision on for the token? I had this happen this past weekend and that was the solution that worked for me. Gabriel F. said: Torch Dynamic light configuration

How are you checking the token's vision? Are you using Ctrl-L or 'Rejoin as Player'? If so, create a Dummy Account  to check token vision instead.  Ctrl-L does not  show a player's view from a token (but it should show a token's Line of Sight... so it should work, but it still a good idea.) Make sure to move the token at least one space.  There was a bug previously that token vision did not 'update' until the token has been moved on a page. Is the token able to see if you turn on Daylight Mode? If yes, then the problem is with the light source. If no, then the problem is with the token settings (and also maybe with the light source, but you can rule out the token vision settings.) Definitely check if you have any Permanent Darkness over the area - that is not controlled on the Page Settings, but from Darkness Tool on the left toolbar. If you have everything set up correctly but an area of Permanent Darkness coving the token, your screenshot is exactly what you would see. Separately, you'll probably want to turn on the 'Dynamic Lighting Barriers Restrict Movement' setting, or else your players will be able to move through your walls and possibly spoil future areas.  I also suggest turning on 'Update When Token Drop' so that players cannot move their tokens around and land back in the original location, which means that you wouldn't see any movement but they will temporarily be able to see those areas. And my preference is to not  use Explorer Mode, and use ' Light Crumbs ' instead, but your mileage may vary.
Thank you guys so much. I was able to solve my problem, and the dummy account really worked. Thanks for the other tips as well, I am still new on the platform so still learning. Sorry for the inconvenience

Glad you got it working, Gabriel! For the benefit of others who might have similar issues, what was the thing that needed fixing?
Hi, so I was messing up with the tests, I was only using CTRL-L and for some reason, it was not showing properly, but then I tried out with the dummy account and it worked just fine.
