[LFP][DnD 5e][Free] Into the Night (custom game)

Character creation: 4d6 drop the lowest (2 arrays) Races: Any official Class/Sub-Class: Any official - - - - - Things are getting bad in Baldur's Gate. Crime is reaching levels that it has never seen before. Either one very prolific killer or a group of different killers. Bodies are displayed on twisted effigies to this unseen but felt entity. The characters are already group on a different task when the person they were supposed to meet was the latest victim. Stabbed and slashed a total of 13 times. As the death toll starts to pile up crime and violence becomes worse as the entity worms it way into the Prime Material plane. Can you stop the monsters without donning a mask to use fire against fire?

Time and day? It sounds like a neat story, but I'm limited on when I can play.
