High GPU

So I've a gaming laptop with an Nvidia 3050ti in and recently since a driver update roll20 has been using 100% GPU whenever I try to ping or zoom in and out of the map. Never had an issue with roll20 before but any time I open it up now it eats my GPU. Have tried several browsers, turning off the hardware acceleration only put pressure on the CPU pretty hard. Anyone had this issue before?
I have the same problem. Yesterday everything was fine, but today Roll20 loads the processor too much. Maybe it`s because of recent update?
Yes, I also ran into this problem. I hope that this will be fixed soon.
Same for me: lag in-game; only happened since last few days.

Same here. Up until now everything has been fine, but today when I launch it's unplayably slow and I'm getting a warning about "graphics performance" from Roll20 and suggesting I turn on hardware acceleration (it's already on). I do stress the system (large maps, lots of dynamic lighting, etc) but everything was perfectly fine until today, and I updated my geforce drivers this morning...could be related? UPDATE: Tried it in Edge and it works just fine. Then went back to Chrome, forced Chrome to update ( Version 108.0.5359.71 (Official Build) (64-bit) , and then tried again and now it works just fine. So perhaps a recent Chrome update was the issue and I needed a subsequent update to fix it? Uncertain.
Mine too.  Deplorably bad.  Was never a problem before the Windows feature was introduced.
Right, same issue here. Started happening after this new update. Having my campaign's landing page open, which is nothing but player tokens and a png world map causes CPU usage around 60%. Dynamic lighting is not enabled on that page. Going to a page with Dynamic lighting running changes nothing, and I don't mean it makes it better or worse, I'm saying it's literally the same CPU usage on both pages which was not the case previously.

Hey folks, Give it another try. Roll20 pushed a fix for some recent performance issues with a recent Chrome update. This may have been related. Are you still having the issue?
I still am.

Mr. NumNums said: I still am.  Tibermoon upthread reported the issue went away after upgrading Chrome. Is your version up to date? If it is the Window code, I don't think it's solely due to that, since the issue seems to be localized to Chrome. I haven't experienced it on Mac or Chromebook.
