Returning player

I'm not sure if this is allowed in this section but I haven't played D&D in years (other than video games ). The last time I played table top for an extended period of time was back when 3.5 was new. I want to get back into it and play again. I don't mind if it's a one shot or a long extended campaign. But I'd need help rolling up a character and stuff. Also Im a single father with a full time job so scheduling may need to be alittle flexible

Yeah. From what I've seen from 5e stuff I've looked up, it seems like it has alot more cool things than the older versions I played many years ago. I mainly just want to get back into D&D again but I'd prefer 5e

I wish i had a schelduling preference, because im all over the place at all times, and i have school, but my preference for frequency may be either really frequent, or off and on.
