I’m making this post on behalf of myself and two friends in hopes of finding people who share our passion for a roleplay heavy DND style, and are looking for like-minded people to have at their table! We’re extremely passionate people who all come from creative walks of life! We have years of personal experience with character creation, writing and story-telling and in more recent years, our passions have led us to DND! Us & Our Playstyle We’ve found a great love for role playing, acting and voicing characters and have an intense love for crafting unique backstories and lore around our characters. We work hard to allow good character development and actively participate in the worlds we have both created and are invited into. We also work hard to ensure that everyone in the party feels welcomed, important and interacted with so that nobody is left behind in the fun and are just as enthused about their creations and part in the stories! This easily extends to linking character stories with other players, and working with the DM on plot and tie-ins! We enjoy good fun! Making friends, cracking jokes and appreciating funny situations out of character is part of the fun! However we highly value the story, character development and role play and love becoming immersed in the plot and acting out our scenes. Our characters are their own people and we value what they would do in the moment over making moves based on the statistics and numbers. When serious moments arise, we are ready to feel their impact. Take us on an emotional roller coaster! We want you to be at least 18+ as we’re all over 20. We do not enjoy an obsessive or persistent amount of ‘adult’ themes, but we would just be the most comfortable playing with our own age ranges. What we’re looking for in a group Safe Space for LGBTQIA+, the Socially Anxious. We don’t tolerate hate speech of any kind. It’s important to us that we all establish boundaries over uncomfortable or sensitive topics people may have, so we can all work together to stay away from them both in game and group discussion. DND 5e Games, 2D6 Games. Open to all settings both official and homebrew. Discord, DND Beyond and Roll 20 are what we are used to using, but let us know if you have another cool tool you know about! Focused on looking for DMs - But are VERY open to meeting new players and expanding our group! It can be hard to find role play groups that you can wholeheartedly vibe with!
