This campaign has a heavy emphasis on role-play, uncovering mysteries and of course intense combat! With the overall theme being Mystery and Political Intrigue, including an Apocalyptic scenario to top it off! As you progress through the story, your actions will have dire consequences, which can help mold your character's development and the way they see the world. With this Campaign being role-play focused, backstories will infuse the world with quests you all go on, interesting and unique NPCs to come across and care about, fun role-play moments in taverns and on the road, including deathly times where your character has to reflect on their life, if they find themselves fading in the heat of battle! As technology and magic intertwine, inventions include: the railroad, trains, electricity to light the city’s and roads, deadly 1800’s firearms like repeaters and revolvers to arm the wealthy, horses and carriages are still in use, and of course swords, shields and armor still widely used by the populace. Magic being less common, technology seems to slowly take over, as the need and knowledge of magic begins to fade. The most popular invention being the Steam Powered Flying Airship! Which has made transportation and life much easier for the people; however, it also made The Great War and battles that much more bloody! Ti’Doris is a beautiful continent divided into three Independent Nations. Sands so soft you can walk barefoot in the desert terrain of The North. The world is lit by two warm suns and by two moons, littered with animal life, cacti and trees, bright blue rivers and lakes and mountain regions that dot the landscape. Forest terrain to The West, otherwise known as The Republic, with salmon filled rivers and forest tree covered mountains. The East’s constant snow covered land and volcanoes with the native cherry blossom trees that give color to the region. The Independent Nations of Ti’Doris, are known as The North, The East and The Republic, with each nation its own culture and government systems. The Gathering, a neutral zone, where each Nation’s Leaders go to discuss important policies or news. Each Nation has very influential families with powerful political connections. The North is known for House Dawnborn, The East for House Blackguard and The Republic for House Sandwater. The architecture of the cities and towns varies by each Nation’s culture and society. The primary use and knowledge of Magic resides in The Mages College Of Tremora in The Republic. A school that has neutrality to the politics of the World. Their goal is to protect the raw power of magic from those not disciplined to handle it. Including, to investigate magical phenomena that occur in the world and solve the mysteries behind them. JOINING THE ADVENTURE - SATURDAY MORNINGS https://startplaying.games/adventure/clf6kld5x000908l25ze0adtd JOINING THE ADVENTURE - MONDAY MORNINGS https://startplaying.games/adventure/clf6jtsh6000008lk5g2sbld0 ABOUT ME https://startplaying.games/gm/dorianthedm I look forward to being your DM and the exciting adventures we shall go on! Per Session / Static This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of $12.00 USD/Per Session on a weekly basis like a subscription.
