5e profile icon spawning multiple on edit

Hello, I'm having an issue where making any tiny edit to a character will make several icons spawn on the screen. "Any edit" includes changing their hp in the icon edit section or even going in the character sheet and going from the spell list to the settings cog wheel. In the image below, the left is before and the right is after. For more context, in this newly created 5e campaign (I'm DM) one player wants to use a different icon for when raging vs not. My plan was to have a 2nd char sheet hidden to the other players which had nothing but the 2nd icon. That icon would be tied to the first char sheet for stats, but the 2nd sheet would allow the click and drag. That way they would share hp and only the img/name would change. In the process of trying to set this up and test it, the character sheet now permanently has this bug where every icon I've ever tied to it will spawn on the map. Nothing I do about clearing the icon etc seems to fix the issue. Duplicating the original sheet has the same problem. Creating a new char sheet and repeating similar steps seems to have the same problem (with its own set of icons stuck to it). The only pre-existing abnormality about this char sheet is that it's multiclassing, but I don't think that's relevant. I'm mainly posting to report the bug, but as an aside if someone wants to refer me to some advice I'd appreciate it: -  how can I get 2 icons tied to the 1 sheet's hp bar.  I saw similar posts but the advice they gave didn't seem viable. - how can I fix this broken character sheet? My plan is to just create a new one from scratch and copy all the content into it and not do fancy icon plans atm.

Had this Bug once, too. the only solution was to delete all tokens related and the sheet itself and use a new one! If the Icons should be the same it is quite easy. Link the Token to the sheet and simply drag it 2 times on the map... If you edit the HP value it should change for both instances... As for the latter: Best would be to delete the broken sheet and use a fresh one...

In the game you need to do this setup, does the creator of the game have a pro subscription? If you are in a game created by someone with a free or plus account, then a second sheet with the token linked to the first is the way to go when you want the name to be different.  If you are in a game created by someone with a pro account, then you have access to api mods/scripts.  In that case, I would recommend the GM create a rollable table token with both token images and then set up TokenMod commands to change the token image and name. As far as the glitch with tokens goes, I have only experienced that when a sheet/token is first set up.  Recently, I have been setting up sheets for some deity avatars and this bug seems to affect each one as made.  I create the token, link it to the sheet with bars to necessary stats, delete the token, and then the token reappears whenever I alter any further values on the sheet.  However, when I come back a day or 2 later to continue, I don't see that behavior anymore.  I don't know if a simple refresh of the browser tab would work, but it seems that shutting down the game and logging back in does.  Well, it does for me at least.
If all that you really need is to allow the player to be able to change their token image, you can create a multi-sided token for them. Creation of multi-sided tokens and rollable tables are included with even a free account.&nbsp; This video is a few years old so the token configuration menu looks a little different, but the method described still works, and you don't need a Pro account <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gt4Z7GqOBdw" rel="nofollow">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gt4Z7GqOBdw</a> The TokenMod script that Kraynic mentioned above would allow for more customization, like defining different sizes for the tokens and linking them to different character sheets. Interesting Map btw... Beginning Cave of Zelda 1... "It's Dangerous to go alone. Take this..." ;)

Thanks for the replies. - The GM (me) is a free account. It's completely fair that I won't have access to certain advanced features. - I kept the original broken character sheet (hidden from the players) in case more info was needed for the bug report. Can confirm that the issue is no longer happening there. Possibly some combination of it being the next day, relogged, and refreshed the page as suggested. Did not yet test if I could force the issue by playing with new icons in this campaign. I probably won't delete the character, so let me know if a mod wants more info for debugging. - Thanks for the suggestion on multi-sided tokens. I'll take a look at it this week. I'll open up editing tokens when I figure out how to do that too. - Yes that is from the Legend of Zelda. I was wondering if anyone would notice from the tiny snippet that was visible at the time. I always have something silly in page1 that I can throw the players onto when no map is warranted. I call it the loading page. Specifically the old man is offering Zelda a pentagram here.
