Removing Quote/Editing Spacing

Hello, After doing a little trial and error I found a way to do this. When you type a normal quote  it will give you this type of spacing and then when you wish  to stop quoting it won't let you. The way to fix this is simple. You hit enter twice . That will end the quote and allow you to go back to typing normally. If you are not a fan of double spacing in your quotes, simply select the quote. Hit either the bullet point, or number list. Then re-select the text and deselect the list feature. This will give you single space text. By comparison this is the double space.

You can also shift-return for new line without extra space between. Also, when typing a quote in a handout, you can often wind up with abnormally large text. Typing return and then backspace will re-set the quote block to normal height.
